Canada’s Zero Emissions Vehicle Infrastructure Program – $130 Million Available

Canada’s Zero Emissions Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) is committing $130 million over five years to deploy a network of zero emission vehicle charging. There are rebates and incentives available across the country! In addition to vehicle rebates, some provinces also offer rebates or incentives on chargers.

Incentives in Canada
National (up to $5000)

In order to encourage the adoption of Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEVs) by Canadians and Canadian businesses, the Government of Canada launched the Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV) Program in May 2019.

There are no provincial incentives at this time, however select municipalities do have some funding available.

The City of Edmonton had an incentive program for installing electric vehicle charging stations on their properties (homeowners and businesses) but it is now closed. Watch here for updates.
