David is a seasoned executive with 25+ years experience building and scaling technology businesses across several industries.
Most recently as a founder of Finning Digital and the Head of Global Digital Services at the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer, Finning International, David was accountable for launching and scaling a multinational eCommerce business and developing an award-winning SaaS platform, branded CUBIQ Performance Solutions. He serves as an advisor and independent director to public companies and holds an ICD.D.
Chief Financial Officer
Kara is a graduate of the University of BC and a CPA, CA with over 20 years experience. Kara’s career began in public practice with KPMG. After leaving public practice most of her career was spent as a CFO for Sysco Canada Food Service.
Kara is committed to giving back to her community and has worked with Kelowna Women in Business. She was a business mentor for Entrepreneurship@UBC – Okanagan Campus, is a member of the Ellis Place Supportive Housing Community Advisory Committee and she is a term professor at the Okanagan School of Business.
- Sion is the original founder and President of Spark Charging Solutions. With over 20 years as a Master Electrician, Sion is a pioneer who carries a true passion for innovation to make the planet a better place. With this as a mission statement, Sion founded Spark in 2016 with a vision of bringing convenient, reliable and safe EV charging solutions to the Canadian market.

- Chris brings over 15 years of senior sales leadership to HyperCharge. Working in early-stage and high-growth businesses like 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Hootsuite, and Vidyard, Chris has recruited and led high performance sales teams, delivering maximum value to clients and to the business. By cultivating strong partnerships, and creating a culture of excellence, Chris has been able to deliver incremental growth on a consistent basis.
Head of Product
- Rob Boyko serves as Hypercharge’s Head of Product. Rob brings more than 25 years of systems product development and product management to Hypercharge, including inventing and leading commercialization of what became the Blackberry Enterprise Server and developing the prototype shared with Daimler AG which evolved into the car2go car sharing in-vehicle hardware and networking standard. At Hypercharge, Rob’s role is to listen to our customers, end users, and stakeholder’s needs of the Hypercharge Network and to translate that information into industry-leading hardware and software solutions.
