        Depending on application, the Government of British Columbia provides rebates for single family homes, multi-unit residential, and workplace uses.

        Hypercharge is an approved vendor of EV chargers that meet CleanBC’s rebate eligibility criteria for all of the below categories.

         

        Single Family Homes:

        Rebate of up to 50% of the purchase and installation costs of an eligible Level 2 EV charger, to a maximum of $350. This includes duplexes or townhouses with private garages or dedicated parking.

        Multi-Unit Residential:

        EV Ready

        Plan rebate: A rebate of up to $3,000 for the creation of an EV Ready plan – a professional strategy for your building to make at least one parking space per residential unit EV Ready.

        Infrastructure rebate: A rebate of up to $600 per parking space to install the electrical infrastructure required to implement your EV Ready plan, to a maximum of $80,000.

        Charger rebate: A rebate of up to $1,400 per charger to purchase and install Level 2 networked EV chargers to implement your building’s EV Ready plan, to a maximum of $14,000.

        Standalone EV Charger Rebate

        A rebate of up to $2,000 per charger to purchase and install Level 2 networked EV chargers at your building’s residential parking spaces, to a maximum of $14,000.

        Workplaces:

        Workplaces can get a rebate of up to $2,000 per charger to purchase and install eligible Level 2 networked EV chargers for employee use, to a maximum of $14,000.

        Eligible workplace organizations can have separate applications for different locations, up to a maximum of four.

              New Brunswick residents or organizations who receive a vehicle rebate through the NB Power Plug-In NB Rebate Program are eligible for a rebate of 50% of the cost to purchase and install one new level 2 EV charger, up to a maximum of $750. 

              Hypercharge is an approved vendor of EV chargers that meet NP Power’s rebate eligibility criteria.

              The number of charging station incentives are limited to the number of EV incentives received by a resident or organization in a 12-month period.

              The EV VIN is required to claim the incentive. The name on the invoice must match the name on the EV registration(s) and must be from a Canadian supplier.

                    The Arctic Energy Alliance (AEA) provides a $500 rebate for a Level 2 charger to reduce the cost of purchasing charging infrastructure in the Northwest Territories.

                    Hypercharge proudly sells EV chargers that meet the AEA’s rebate eligibility criteria. 

                    The rebates are available to individuals, businesses, not-for-profit organizations, community, and indigenous governments located in a community connected to the NWT’s hydro-electric grid (Behchoko, Dettah, Enterprise, Fort Resolution, Fort Smith, Hay River, Kátł’odeeche, N’dilo, and Yellowknife). Applicants must apply for the rebate directly with the AEA and funds are limited within their fiscal year.

                      Clean Foundation, a Nova Scotia-based charity, has secured $1.2 million in funding through ZEVIP. When submissions open in early 2022, businesses will be able to propose funding to install Level 2 chargers.

                      Hypercharge proudly sells Level 2 EV chargers that we expect to be eligible for rebates through Clean Foundation’s funding.

                      Funding from NRCan typically allows for a rebate of 50% of total project costs, to a maximum of $5,000 per connector.

                                    Depending on application, the Government of Quebec provides rebates for single family homes, multi-unit residential, and workplace uses:

                                    Single Family Homes:

                                    Rebate of $600 for the purchase and installation costs of an eligible Level 2 EV charger. The applicant must be the owner or lessee of an electric vehicle.

                                    Hypercharge’s offers approved EV chargers that meet the Government of Quebec’s rebate eligibility criteria.

                                    Multi-Unit Residential:

                                    Purchase and Installation

                                    Rebate of the lesser of the following:

                                    • 50% of eligible expenses

                                    OR

                                    • $5,000 per wireless charging station

                                    OR

                                    • $5,000 per connector for charging stations with one or more connectors that allow the equivalent number of electric vehicles to be recharged simultaneously.

                                    Lease and Installation

                                    Rebate of:

                                    • $500 per wireless charging station

                                    OR

                                    • $500 per connector for charging stations with one or more connectors that allow the equivalent number of electric vehicles to be recharged simultaneously and 50% of eligible expenses related to the installation of a charging station.

                                    The total amount of financial assistance shall not exceed $5,000 per wireless charging station or per connector.

                                    If the charging station is leased, the applicant must provide a lease showing that he or she meets the other eligibility requirements of the program, notably the requirement to keep the charging station in operation for at least three years.

                                    Workplaces:

                                    Purchase and Installation

                                    Rebate of 50% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of $5,000 per wireless charging station or $5,000 per connector (for a charging station with one or more connectors).

                                    Lease and Installation

                                    Rebate of:

                                    • $500 per wireless charging station

                                    OR

                                    • $500 per connector for charging stations with one or more connectors that allow the equivalent number of electric vehicles to be recharged simultaneously and 50% of eligible expenses related to the installation of a charging station.

                                    Financial assistance cannot exceed $5,000 per wireless charging station or $5,000 per connector.

                                    REBATES & INCENTIVES

                                    Saskatchewan

                                          The Government of Yukon offers rebates of 50% of the purchase and installation costs up to a maximum of $750 for 1 charger at a personal residence and 50% of total costs up to a maximum of $4,000 per installed charger for multi-unit residential & commercial buildings. 

                                          Eligible chargers for the personal residence rebate must be Level 2 with a 240 volt plug with output power between 3 kilowatt and 20 kilowatt, and be Wi-Fi enabled. For commercial, institutional, apartment, and work buildings, eligible chargers must be Level 2 with a 240 volt plug with output power between 3 kilowatt and 20 kilowatt, and be connected to a network.
