NWT Electric Vehicles Infrastructure Program (NWT EVIP)

An application-driven grant program aimed at supporting the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across public places, on-street spots, multi-unit residential buildings, workplaces, and light duty electric vehicle fleets within the territory. Applications are processed on a first come-first serve basis until December 1, 2023, or until the funds are fully allocated. All projects should be finalized by March 31, 2024.

Efficiency Nova Scotia EV Charging Rebates

A program tailored for existing apartment and condo building owners, offering rebates up to 50% of the total project cost, capped at $2,500 per charging station and $10,000 per building, to aid in covering the expenses for installing eligible charging stations. Applications are to be submitted by building owners/managers, strata councils, or other building representatives. Tenants desiring a charger should coordinate with their building owner or board, as applications from tenants are not accepted.

Electric Vehicle (EV) ChargeON Program

The EV ChargeON program provides funding for the installation of public electric vehicle (EV) chargers in Ontario communities outside of major cities. The funding covers up to 75% of total project costs with a rebate of up to $150,000 per DC Fast charging station or $7,500 per Level 2 charging station. Total provincial contribution will not exceed the total funding cap of $1 million.

Eligibility: Must be located in a community with a population of 170,000 or less, or in any Indigenous community in Ontario. Applicants can include businesses, not-for-profit corporations, municipal governments, Indigenous communities, organizations or businesses, and broader public sector organizations.
