Ontario businesses, municipalities, and community organizations can now apply for renewed funding through the EV ChargeON Program, which has officially reopened.
Now administered by the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation, ChargeON provides post-construction rebates covering 25% to 75% of eligible project costs to support the installation of public EV charging stations across the province.
The program’s goal is to expand Ontario’s public charging network, improve accessibility for drivers, and encourage adoption of electric vehicles by reducing range anxiety.
Applications are open from November 3 to December 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. ET, with project approvals expected in April 2026.
